Live shows are coming to Hulu next year.

Hulu is going live.

The TV streaming service, whose typical fare is reruns, will start offering live sports, news and events to its subscribers next year. The move could make Hulu a bigger competitor to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video and inspire more folks to cut the cord.
