HTC Ville leaks: ICS, Sense 4.0, Beats and more

Yet another HTC handset has leaked, and it's another doozy, with Android Ice Cream Sandwich topping off the tasty specs.

Is it just us or are all HTCs looking the same these days? This forthcoming handset, named the HTC Ville, looks like just another generic render, but it's a doozy.

For starters, it'll come packing Android Ice Cream Sandwich, when it launches in April, according to BGR. It'll also have Sense 4.0 -- not much is known about this, but the overlay could be optimised for the latest version of Android.

So what else does it have? The screen should be 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED, giving stunningly bright colours. Inside is a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Series 4 processor, though that's not a patch on the quad-core model the company is rumoured to be working on.

On imaging duties is an 8-megapixel camera, just like on the Edge, with support for 1080p HD video, and for music lovers, Beats audio will be on board, just like on the Sensation XE we're rather fond of.

All this will be bundled up in a package less than 8mm thin -- that's just a smidgen fatter than the Motorola Razr, which also runs Ice Cream Sandwich.

It's just the latest HTC handset to leak. Just a few days after the HTC Rezound was announced for the US (shaming its UK equivalent), the HTC Edge leaked, with phenomenal quad-core processing power. It's expected to join the Ville at Mobile World Congress in February, so expect both to launch around spring 2012.

HTC also announced its Sensation line of phones will get an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich, though the Desire won't.

So, the Ville sounds pretty special, right? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
