If the HTC Mozart doesn't launch in the next few weeks we'll devour our headgear, because Orange now has an official page on the upcoming Windows Phone 7 mobile.

We've seen pictures, videos and specifications leak out for the Mozart, but we didn't know for certain whether it would come to the UK. But it appears Orange will be one of the UK networks carrying the smart phone, after it posted up a page (now taken down, originally spotted by Coolsmartphone) with a walkthrough of how to set it up first time.

We also know the HTC Mozart will probably be one of the first Windows Phone 7 devices, ready for a potential 21 October release date. A screengrab was found on the internal Phones4u system by Engadget, which had a picture of the Mozart and a late October release date marked down.

Specifications for the HTC Mozart include a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 processor, a 3.7-inch Super LCD display and an 8-megapixel camera with xenon flash. It will also offer 720p video recording, a 1,300mAh battery, 8GB of memory, as well as sensors for ambient light, gravity, proximity and a compass. There's also surround sound, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Price-wise, Engadget's guess of £35 per month with the phone thrown in free sounds about right.

So the HTC Mozart is a definite shoo-in to be one of HTC's first Windows Phone 7 mobiles. We think it'll be one of three models we see from HTC at launch, and will be best camera phone of the trio. The other phones look like they'll be the HTC Trophy 7 (also referred to as the HTC Spark) and the HD7. Follow the links for more details on these devices.

The Windows Phone 7 handsets will be given their premiere by Microsoft at a press event on 11 October, and you're likely to be able to buy them from 21 October. With other phones from the likes of Samsung and LG expected, we're in for a very busy few weeks.
