No solution for this if you use Mac OS 7.6 Farallon's Ethernet PowerBook Adapters (EtherWave and EtherMac) - the ones that connect to the printer port rather than SCSI - do not support Open Transport. This is confirmed on a Farallon web page dated 11/6/96. As a result, one reader reported: "We could see AppleShare devices, but we could not use TCP/IP." No fix for this is planned. In the past, Farallon recommended switching back to Classic Networking as a solution. However, this does not work for Mac OS 7.6, which requires Open Transport. When Mario Jori raised this issue with Farallon, they offered him a full refund as well as a special lower price on the SCSI adapter.
