Think you know your Romulans from your Slitheens? You probably do, but find out for sure by taking this fun online test.

It's pretty easy to guess which species Lieutenant Worf belongs to, but how well will you do when things get a little more obscure? Paramount

Life here on Earth can get a little dull. After all, the only other intelligent beings we have to talk to are other humans. In the world of sci-fi, however, you can sit down and share a nice glass of Klingon Blood Wine with everything from Borg to beloved Vulcans.

But would you really know your Neimoidian from your Voord if one approached you at a party? (I'm guessing you would, as a reader of Crave.) To find out, check out this new online test by RadioTimes, a British TV-oriented publication.

It not only lets you quiz yourself on your sci-fi-species cred, but it can serve as a handy primer on learning about those lesser-known creatures that populate fictional universes.

I got an 83 out of 100 on the test, which I'm not proud of. But I found that it did swing a bit "Dr. Who" heavy which, I'm sorry to say, is a gaping hole in my sci-fi knowledge base. Hopefully, you'll do better.

When you're done, check out the spaceship quiz RadioTimes recently put out. It skews a little British, which confused this Yank, but if you're a true hard-core sci-fi fan you should do just fine. Let me know how it turns out in the comments below.
