Just this week Google released a long list of updates to both its Chrome browser and Chrome OS. The OS update included 'OK Google' voice search listening, while the

version of its browser gained the ability to reopen closed tabs.

The feature is really simple to use, but if you're not paying close attention it's easy to miss the prompt, leaving the tab lost forever. OK, it's not really lost forever (more on that in a minute).

After updating to the latest version of Chrome for Android, you will see a new "Undo" prompt pop-up at the bottom of your screen when you close a tab.

The prompt hangs out for only a few seconds, so you'll need to act quickly.

In the screenshot above you can see the new undo prompt. Easy enough.

Don't fret if you miss the undo prompt; you can always tap on the menu button, followed by the tab you'd like to reopen in the "Recently Closed" section.
