Hottest tech products (winter 2013)

Here are the most popular products getting the most attention from readers on CNET.

I don't know why I make this job harder than it needs to be. Every week I wrack my brain trying to think of a topic that will tap into the collective CNET zeitgeist. Sometimes I hit it just right, and sometimes I get nothing. But I could save myself a lot of trouble.

Without fail, the most popular Top 5 videos we produce here are the "Hottest Product" roundups. I think you guys get a voyeuristic kick out of knowing what everyone else is looking at.

Well, who am I to deprive you? This time around I've got the hottest tech products on CNET for winter. For my purpose, I'm restricting that to products announced between December of 2012 and March of 2013. Yes, that means the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S4 didn't make the cut, but I'm sure it will make the spring list.

Truth is, this is one of the least predictable hot product lists I've done. Most of that has to do with the fact that winter is typically a slow month for tech. Without an Apple announcement or flagship Android device to swoon over, what do you guys look at on our site? Check out the above video to find out.
