Watch this: Motorola's ambitious Moto Z and Z Force put you in control

If you're looking for deals before preordering the Moto Z or the Z Force, Best Buy has something for you. The retailer announced today some special offerings of the smartphones.

Specifically, you can get the Moto Z (32GB) for just $1 if you're willing to sign up for a two-year contract with Verizon -- that's a saving of $200. If you don't want to be locked into a contract, you can pay just $17.67/month via Verizon Device Payment plan (down from $26/month).

For the Z Force, with a two-year contract, you can have it for $99 (down from $299.99) or you can pay for it via Verizon Device Payment plan of $21.83/month (a reduction from $30 per month.)

Additionally, when you purchase and activate either of the phones, Best Buy will give you the Speaker Mod, which instantly turn the phone into a boom box and normally costs $80, for free.

And speaking of Mods, Verizon stores have some good deals there, too. Currently, if you buy one Mod, you can get any other lower-priced Mod at a 40 per cent discount.
