The last ten years have seen a phenomenal amount of new tech hitting our homes, but which devices deserve their place in the pantheon of all-time greats, and which deserve to be buried in the desert and erased from collective memory? We're giving you the chance to choose the Greatest Gadget of the 21st Century.

On 1 November, CNET UK will launch a competition to ask you what you think is the best gadget that's been made since the year 2000. Over the course of six weeks we'll be pitting the 32 most astonishing bits of tech against each other in a head-to-head tournament, to decide which gadget reigns supreme.

Every week we'll be asking you to vote for your favourite device in a particular division -- a process that will eventually culminate in the most epic technological clash imaginable. It's going to be massive, and it's going to be great. But we need your help.

See, we're not totally decided on which 32 products deserve to enter the running, so we're giving you the opportunity to remind us of the brilliant tech that might have slipped our minds. What deserves to be on the list?

Are you a massive fan of the Nokia N95? Have fond memories of the Creative Zen? Are you the only person who liked the Gizmondo? Jog our memories in the comments below, on our Facebook page, or hit us up on Twitter.

Come on guys, do it for the love of gadgets. Not only are they the bread and butter of humble tech sites like ourselves, they make our humdrum everyday lives that little bit more like Star Trek. For that, we are always thankful.
