Ron Weasley, noooo! 'Harry Potter' actors get sorted into Hogwarts houses
Ron Weasley's a natural Gryffindor, right? Maybe not, according to the Pottermore online quiz.

Of course, Harry, Hermione and Ron are natural Gryffindors through and through. Right? Well, there was that stuttery moment when the Sorting Hat suggested Harry might do well in Slytherin, but honestly it's tough to imagine the three Harry Potter heroes wearing anything but the red and gold.
Not quite the case, though, for the actors in the movie. Author J.K. Rowling's site, Pottermore, features an online quiz that sorts users into the four Hogwarts houses, and some of the movie's stars recently got surprising results.
Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the films, had the confidence of a born Gryffindor going into his test. "Well, it'd have to be Gryffindor, I think," he said. "That's what I feel, I belong there."
So much for intuition. Grint was sorted into the loyal, patient and hardworking house of Hufflepuff, and like a true Hufflepuff badger, made the best of it. "I feel pretty good," he announced. "It wasn't what I was expecting."
Matthew Lewis, who played Gryffindor Neville Longbottom in the films, also joined Grint in switching to Hufflepuff -- and revealed during the sorting process that he'd never snitch on a cheating friend.
Evanna Lynch played Ravenclaw Luna Lovegood in the films, but was another one apparently misplaced by Hollywood. She turned out to be not a Ravenclaw after all, but a Gryffindor, which had her pumping her arm in the air in excitement. "Thrilled!" she said.
What of Bonnie Wright, Ginny Weasley in the show? Would Ron's sister join him in the leap to Hufflepuff, or would Harry's future wife stay Gryffindor through-and-through?
"I think, as a strong, devout Weasley, it could only be Gryffindor," she said before taking the online test. And the Sorting Hat agreed. "I feel very relieved, I feel proud," Wright announced upon seeing her results.
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry) and Emma Watson (Hermione) have yet to publicly take the test, but perhaps the biggest Sorting Hat switcheroo came in 2015, when actor Tom Felton (Harry's nemesis, Draco Malfoy) announced his results on Twitter. It's the kind of result that makes you question the whole house system, actually, and Felton knew it.
