Hard Disk Toolkit issues

HDT PE 2.5.2 is out The PE version of Hard Disk Toolkit 2.5.2 is apparently out. Michael Rude received a copy in the mail. He adds: "It supports HFS and has more configuration options than 2.0.6."

Problems with full version of 2.5.2? Meanwhile, Jim Osmundson writes that the bootable CD that comes with the full version of HDT 2.5.2 does not work on his Quadra. He got a "sad Mac" when trying to boot from it. He adds: "There also seems to be a conflict with the revised driver working properly with Quantum Lightning and Fireball drives; the backup directory was corrupted. HDT Personal Edition and HDT 2.0.6 seem to be OK on the same drives with OS 8.1. FWB customer service acknowledged a known problem and sent a UPS pick up order to have the software picked up and a refund issued."
