HandSpring Visor Deluxe HotSync problems: a work-around

Regarding our report last time about the inability to use Palm Desktop 2.5 on a Visor PDA, Andy Halvor writes: "I was able to work around them and sync both my Visor and a Palm IIIx. I installed Palm Desktop 2.5 then copied over the Hot Sync Manager and Serial Port Monitor from the previous Visor install. I then trashed the 'updated' HSM and SPM. Palm Desktop 2.5 now uses the Visor HSM and SPM as its own, and synchs with the Palm IIIx as well." Wayne Folta offered a similar solution.
