Last time it was rock, this time it's glam -- the SingStar series is back for the PlayStation 2 with SingStar Anthems!, which is set for release locally on 27 July.
Featuring 20 songs complete with full videos, SingStar Anthems! is the sixth game in the popular karaoke series. The songs in this latest version are a mixture of classic and new hits aimed at bringing out everyone's inner diva.
All of the features of previous SingStars will be available on Anthems!, including team contests and head-to-head competitions. The only bad news is that despite the smaller song list (previous SingStars featured 30 songs), the price for Anthems! will be the same as previous versions. SingStar Anthems! with two microphones will retail for AU$99.95, while the game on its own will cost AU$49.95.
