A clump of hair found in Canada's Yukon Territory turns out to be from a bison, not Bigfoot, according to Canadian Press
Wildlife geneticist David Coltman The University of Alberta in Edmonton tested the sample this week and the results ruled out the mythical man ape of the Northwest, or a lost cast member from Land of the Lost.
"This hair sample could not have come from the hairy, bipedal animal that was reportedly sighted in Teslin last week," Coltman said.
Several people claimed they had heard and/or saw a large hairy creature in the bush near Teslin, a village about 100 miles east of the Yukon capital of Whitehorse.
Still, the findings do not rule out that Bigfoot isn't out there, Coltman said.
