Hackers announce zero-day flaw for Firefox
A flaw specific to Firefox's implementation of JavaScript could lead to a stack-overflow error. The vulnerability was announced at the Toorcon hacker conference in San Diego over the weekend and left Mozilla, the company that produces Firefox, scrambling to address the issue. Worse, the presenters, Mischa Spiegelmock and Andrew Wbeelsoi, also released an exploit for the vulnerability, making it likely that someone could use that exploit for an attack against Firefox users.
