What do you do when you buy a fancy new refrigerator, but never use ice? While most fridges come equipped with ice dispensers, Deric Peace of Norwalk, Conn., demonstrates that our ice machines would be so much better if they dispensed candy instead.

It turns out that ice dispensers are pretty simple, and they'll pop out basically any small thing that you put in there. Peace put candy including Skittles and Reese's peanut butter cups in his ice bin, and tried both the crushed and cubed settings on his fridge. Both dispensed candy just fine. The crushed setting, while it didn't fully crush the candies as you'd probably expect, crushed them just enough that they'd probably be perfect for an ice cream topping.

So while you're sitting there thinking about ways to improve your life, having your freezer spit out candy on demand should probably be at the top of your to-do list.
