GTA V scores R18+ classification

Rockstar's latest Grand Theft Auto game passes muster with the Classification Board, getting an R18+ rating.

GTA fans can breathe a sigh of relief: Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V has passed through classification with an R18+ rating.

Spotted by the @AusVGClass Twitter account, the next instalment in the GTA franchise has been given a consumer advisory for "Drug Use".

The Classification Board site scores the game as Strong Impact for Themes, Violence, Language, Nudity and Sex, with Drug Use getting a High Impact rating.

GTA V is out on 17 September, with a number of different editions available for pre-order. Currently, just for Xbox 360 and PS3, the ongoing cry for a PC version continues unabated.
