Google and Nike are creating a community Web site devoted to soccer, according to BusinessWeek.com. The free site, dubbed "Joga" which means "play" in Portuguese, is invitation only. It will feature video clips and photos, both professional and user supplied, and allow fans to create games and form clubs, get access to athletes from Nike and move their obsession (soccer is the world's most popular sport) online. Soccer is particularly popular in Brazil. Also popular in that country is Google's Orkut social networking site.
