Google may drop Nexus branding for future phones

In this Update, we ponder the next evolution of Google's Nexus phones, as reports indicate Google may steer away from the Nexus brand. But Google appears to also be pulling Nest in a new direction. Fortune reports that some Nest engineers are being shifted to work on Google Home, the rival to Amazon Echo.
