Google developers have launched a new blog chronicling the company's efforts to develop products for Mac users.

The Official Google Mac Blog went live Monday right around the time Google executives were busy fielding questions about the company's acquisition of YouTube for $1.65 billion. The blog will update Mac users on new products and services from Google's Mac Engineering team, according to a posting on Google's company blog.

The new Mac OS software can be downloaded here. A version of Google Earth for Mac OS as well as widgets for checking Gmail accounts or posting to Blogger are included among the new products.
