Google IM working right now

Slashdot has a posting from user smash that talk.google.com is open for business to anyone using a Jabber client like Apple's iChat or GAIM who has a Gmail address.

I've tried it and got logged on for a few minutes but it booted me right back off. Don't know if the performance issue is traffic or just the beta-ness of it. After a few more tries I'm getting a 405 not allowed message. I imagine this will all become clear by tomorrow.
