Google exec posts holiday snaps from Nexus 10
A Google exec has posted some holiday photos from the unannounced tablet.
We've already seen the manual for the Samsung Nexus 10, the yet-to-be-announced Android tablet. And now a Google executive has started posting his holiday snaps online using the device, Android Central reports.
Vic Gundotra, Google's senior VP of engineering, is staying near a very nice beach, judging from the photo on his Google Plus page. Scroll to the bottom of the comments in the sidebar, click Photo details, and you'll see it was taken with a Nexus 10.
The resolution is given as 2,048x1,536 pixels -- that's 3.1-megapixels. If that seems a bit low, it's probably because it's been resized for Google Plus.
So what do we know about the Nexus 10 so far? It'll be a rounded device with bulging sides, according to the manual. It'll also have a big Nexus logo festooned across its back. There's a micro HDMI port on the side, too. The 10-inch display is said to have a resolution of 2,560x1,600-pixels, which is quite ridiculously high and should look spectacular to the naked eye.
Inside the device, I've heard talk of a Samsung Exynos 5250 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. On the back should be a 5-megapixel camera, though there's no word of a front-facing snapper yet.
A video of the Nexus 10 also leaked recently, courtesy of SlashGear. But it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it affair.

Samsung was due to announce the Nexus 10 alongside the LG Nexus 4 at a Google event tomorrow, but that's been delayed due to Hurricane Sandy. We'll bring you more as soon as we get it.
