Just when we thought Singapore had the only Burger King concept joint in Asia, along comes Japan with a Burger King that features intriguing musical shower booths. Not that you'll suffer an instant drenching if you forget to pay your bill.
Instead, it's a BYOI (bring your own iPod or iPhone) affair where you get to dock your player in a special device for some personal jukebox time. Better yet, you won't get eyeballed by irate diners because each booth is fitted with an overhead device, looking much like an upside-down salad bowl, which channels the music so only those sitting in the booth can hear it.
The joint is located at Roppongi's Rapiros building, which reads expensive and therefore unlikely to attract a clientele about to sing their heads off with bad karaoke beyond the sphere of their sonically "sealed" booth.
