Getting Newsgroups via Comcast

Comcast now supports access to Usenet newsgroups via Giganews. However, you need to specifically signup to get it. To do so, login to your account at the Comcast home page, go to Member Services and then click to "Manage my Account." From here, Click the "Access Newsgroups" button and proceed as directed.

Giganews will email login information including a special username (not your Comcast username) and password as well as the addresses of the server you should use (which is not the same as the regular Giganews server).
