Getting an Epson printer to work with an iMac via a MacAlly hub

Don Foy was having problems getting his iMac (Rev. B) to recognize his Epson printer. In his case, he was using a MacAlly hub. MacAlly Tech Support told him to connect the Epson printer into Port 1 of the Hub. [To find port 1, hold hub with port that connects to iMac at the top. The top left port is port 1.] This indeed solved the problem!
