Are you craving a PlayStation Vita before it's available to the public?

Sony is offering gamers (in the U.S. and Canada) the chance to pick up its next-generation gaming handheld on February 15, 2012--a full week ahead of the scheduled release. What's the catch? You'll have to dish out $350 for a Wi-Fi/3G Vita bundle, which includes a 4GB memory card, limited-edition PS Vita case, and copy of the Little Deviants game.

This could be a sweet deal for people dead set on getting the Vita, granted they want the 3G version and some accessories. However, with a suggested MSRP of $250 for the Wi-Fi version and $299 for the Wi-Fi/3G model, is it that great of a deal? Vita memory cards will undoubtedly cost a premium, and the included case is a toss-up, so there is some value there.

It's a fair assumption that the relatively unknown game Little Deviants isn't going to be a huge sales driver. Should Sony have packaged a different game, such as Uncharted, instead to entice consumers? Or is the Vita facing tougher challenges?
