Get Apple software updates faster!

Preston Gregg (from Apple Computer) writes: "I'm pleased to announce that Apple Assist recently completed a major upgrade to the servers of ftp.info.apple.com. Downloading free software updates from Apple should be faster and easier than ever before. ftp.info.apple.com now consists of 16 individual servers and has the capacity to serve 8000 simultaneous high speed FTP connections. The servers are Apple Network Server 700 AIX based servers." Using the main URL accesses all available servers; you need not enter a separate URL for a specific server. Apple software updates are also available via the web at http://www.info.apple.com/swupdates/.
