If you want a little taste of F.E.A.R, then make sure you're up at 3am (Eastern Standard Time) this Saturday, 6 August, when the demo of the upcoming PC-shooter is released globally.

Publisher Vivendi Universal is releasing a single player demo this Saturday morning which features one playable level. F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault and Recon) is a paranormal-themed first person shooter focused on an elite task force sent to investigate some unusual doings in a strange compound. The game, which is set for release later this year, was named "Best Action Game of E3 2005" by E3 critics.

The F.E.A.R. single player demo will be available starting at 3:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on Saturday, 6 August. To download the demo or for more information on F.E.A.R including system requirements, please visit www.whatisfear.com.
