Get a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab 3G for $260
The Tab is a terrific Android-powered tablet, better than the iPad in many ways (except battery life). Here's your chance to get one without a 3G contract!

Sure, the $249 Barnes & Noble Nook Color can double as a poor-man's tablet, but for just $10 more, you can get the real deal.
Today only, and while supplies last, Woot has the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab 3G 7-inch Android tablet for $259.99, plus $5 for shipping. That's around $30 less than just a few weeks ago.
Although you can buy the Tab for $199.99 straight from Sprint, that requires a two-year contract and YAMB (Yet Another Monthly Bill). This one comes sans contract; you can pay for Sprint 3G if you want it or stick with Wi-Fi if you don't.

Allow me to recap the latter. The Tab is one of my favorite tablets ever. I especially love the size, which is just right for reading news, e-books, and the like. My iPad seems extra heavy and unwieldy in comparison.
The only thing I don't like is its battery life: the Tab can barely go two days without needing to be recharged--even if I don't touch it. In fact, my disappointment over this led me to write this post: Android battery life: Terrible, or just plain bad?
Of course, as long as you stick close to an AC outlet, I'm guessing you'll dig the Tab as much as I do. And at $259.99, it's a mighty hard deal to pass up. The unit comes with a 90-day Woot warranty.
