Get a Nintendo Wii system + bonus game for $179
Got Wii? If not, now's the time to buy. You'll save $20 off the list price and get a game worth $50. (Hint: Go for "Wii Sports Resort.")
If you haven't yet pulled the trigger on a Nintendo Wii system, you should pat yourself on the back for waiting.
Originally $249, the Wii is currently on sale at Wal-Mart for $179. (Sales tax will run you a few bucks more, of course, and shipping adds around $7 unless you take advantage of free site-to-store shipping.)
The console normally sells for $199, so right off the bat you're saving $20. But wait, there's more: This deal includes a free game. And not some crummy bargain-bin title, but your choice of 13 top sellers.
To my thinking, the slam-dunk choice is the one at the end of the list: "Wii Sports Resort with Wii MotionPlus." It includes not only the awesome follow-up to the bundled Wii Sports, but also the MotionPlus add-on for your controller. It greatly improves controller accuracy and sensitivity in games that support it.
If you'd rather have something a little more game-y , your options include "New Super Mario Bros.," "Super Smash Bros. Brawl," "Mario Kart with Wheel," and "Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 w/Gun."
Most of these titles would normally cost you upward of $50 if purchased separately. So your total savings here is around $70. Nice.
I have to say, if I didn't already have a Wii, I'd jump on this in a heartbeat. IMHO, it's the only game console that really is fun for the whole family.
I'm not sure when this deal ends, but there's always a risk of sellout--so if you're interested, act fast.
