Get a Google Nexus 7 tablet for $139.99, shipped
It's a refurb, but still the lowest price to date on Google's uber-popular Android tablet.

Second up: Some 40-plus players have already signed up for! Very excited to see how this whole thing plays out -- and hopefully drop 10 pounds in the process.
Third up: Today only, and while supplies last, 1SaleADay has the refurbished Google Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi) for $139.99. That's by far the lowest price I've seen for Google's popular tablet, and I'm just hoping it doesn't sell out before you get the chance to grab one. (If it does, don't fret: tablet deals seem to be getting better by the week.)
That said, I'm not sure I fully understand the fuss over this model, which lacks memory expansion and a rear camera. Any tablet with only 8GB of storage is bound to prove limiting, even if you stream most of your media from Google's cloud.
In any case, you'll want to check out CNET's review of the Nexus 7. Although it's focused on the 32GB HSPA+ model, most of the material still applies here. Their takeaway: "With its excellent design, useful software features, and low starting price, the Nexus 7 is the cheapest way to experience the best that the Android OS has to offer."
At $139.99 out the door, that's definitely true. Do keep in mind the 90-day warranty, however, and be prepared for a wait of two to three weeks for delivery (1SaleADay can be slow to ship).
What do you think? Is this the price point you've been waiting for to jump on the Nexus bandwagon, or do you think this model is a bit too limited?
Bonus deal: Also today only, and while supplies last, Tech.Woot has one of the best Slingbox deals I've ever seen: the refurbished Slingbox Pro-HD for $124.99, plus $5 for shipping. This thing, which streams up to three AV sources (TV, DVR, DVD, etc.) to a PC or other mobile device, originally sold for $350. Check out .
