Get a free Bluetooth headset (after rebate)

The Samsung WEP301 is already a pretty decent deal at $23, but if you don't mind waiting 6-8 weeks, you can get 100 percent of your money back.

If you don't mind waiting on a rebate, this headset will cost you exactly $0. Adorama

If you're a person who hates rebates, you should probably stop reading right here and just skip down to the bonus deals. They're quite good. Yep, there you go, OK, buh-bye.

Now then. Bluetooth headsets may be a little dorky-looking, but they enable you to keep both hands on the wheel while driving--and I'd rather look dorky than plow into a tree.

Adoroma (a photography-gear site, go figure) has the Samsung WEP301 Bluetooth headset for free. Yep, free.

OK, free eventually. The headset sells for $23 shipped, but there's a $23 mail-in rebate [PDF] that brings your final total to $0. The rebate offer is good until March 31, though it's entirely possible the headset could sell out before then.

CNET hasn't reviewed the WEP301, but the 80-plus user reviews at Amazon are mostly positive. The big complaint seems to be with the ill-fitting plastic earloop, but I think you can ditch that altogether and still maintain a snug fit.

And, hey, it's free, right? So even if you don't love it, you're only out the price of a postage stamp.

Quick note: This is the third or fourth freebie shared by my brother-in-law Charles, himself an eagle-eyed bargain finder from way back. If I had a Cheapskate merit badge to bestow, he'd get one! Great find, bro.

Bonus deal #1: You know how I love Wi-Fi printers, right? has the Lexmark Impact S305 for just $62.99 shipped. It's a 3-in-1 multifunction (print/scan/copy) with 802.11b/g connectivity. CNET rated it four stars!

Bonus deal #2: I also love big TVs. Dell has a 120Hz, 47-inch Vizio VT470M LCD for $779 shipped, including a Vizio wall mount! That's a pretty smokin' deal.
