The big game is just around the corner (February 6, to be exact). Are you still squinting at an old 32-inch flat-panel? Or, worse, a standard-definition tube TV? The horror!

That's no way to watch the Bears take on the Steelers (that's right, I made the call). So check this out: Newegg has the 46-inch JVC LT-46P510 TeleDock LCD TV for $599.99, plus $19.99 for shipping. That's a whopping $600 off the list price, and hundreds less than it sells for elsewhere.

What exactly is a TeleDock? It's a flip-down front panel that docks your iPod or iPhone. Just drop in your device and you can listen to music and watch movies, all controlled by the TV's own remote. The dock also charges the battery.

The TV itself features a 120Hz refresh rate (the few other sets I've seen in this price range topped out at 60Hz), three HDMI inputs, and a USB port for viewing photos stored on removable drives. Missing is any kind of Internet connectivity.

I haven't found many reviews of the LT-46P510, though a site called The Perfect Vision had mostly positive things to say. On paper, it looks like a winner, especially for iPod/iPhone owners. And I've found 46 inches to be the perfect size for a small-to-medium den/family room.

If you've had any eyes-on experience with this TV, be sure to speak up in the comments!

Bonus deal: Looking to cut the cord on your pricey home landline? I've been a very satisfied Ooma Telo user for about six months (check out my review). Today only, Woot has the refurbished Ooma Telo home phone system for $139.99 (plus $5 for shipping). It sells new for $250--and therefore will almost certainly sell out.
