Fresh from this week's bombshell announcement from Microsoft and NBC, software billionaire Bill Gates and his wife Melinda French revealed today that they are expecting their first child in May.
Baby Gates will be heir to a personal fortune of about $14 billion, but whatever child's gender, he or she won't be named after mom or dad, the future parents said. Gates once told interviewers he plans to give away 95 percent of his fortune to charity to avoid spoiling his offspring. Gates recently published his first book The Road Ahead.
Expect to see and hear a couple of gigabytes worth of Gates baby jokes until May.
