'Gangnam Style' Christmas light display assaults the eyes

Celebrate the holidays with a K-pop Christmas light display that will forever sear LEDs into your eyes and "Gangnam Style" into your ears.

If you aren't completely sick of the "Gangnam Style" phenomenon, there's a new video entry vying for your affection. This one features a light show that would draw attention and eyeballs even if you plunked it down in the heart of Las Vegas.

The ambitious choreographed LED display comes to us from a Christmas light-obsessed guy named John Storms in Texas. Last year, Storms built a display that danced to the Angry Birds theme.

Storms told Austin station KXAN that the more than 25,000 LED lights only cost about $15 per month to run. Mercifully, the neighbors won't be blasted with K-pop. Visitors have to tune into the music over FM.

As further proof that the world is not yet ready to relinquish Psy's hit song to the past, nearly 800,000 people have tuned in to watch the Christmas-lights version. That still pales in comparison with the Bieber-slaying 805 million (and counting) views the original video has received. So, is this going to be a very Gangnam Christmas? I kind of hope not.
