Borderlands 2 coming to PS Vita

Gearbox has said that the fan requests were too much to bear, so there will be a Vita version of Borderlands 2.

Xbox's love letter to indie devs

Microsoft has given out details of its indie publishing platform called ID@Xbox. It will allow dev studios of any size to self-publish games for the Xbox One.

New Batman: Arkham Origins trailer

PS4 release date and Vita price cut

It's now official: the PS4 will hit Aussie shelves on 29 November. Whet your appetite with a PS Vita, which will cost just AU$269.95 from 2 September.

Xbox One Launch games

Microsoft has confirmed that there will be 23 launch titles for its next-generation console.

EA Sports UFC only for next-gen consoles

EA has said that its next UFC title will only be on Xbox One and PS4, skipping the current generation of consoles.

PS4 launch "window" games: Fable Legends for Xbox One

Fable returns as a four-player co-op RPG, built for next gen and powered by the Unreal 4 engine. A fifth player can join via the SmartGlass app, and work as an antagonist, setting traps, placing monsters and much more. Sony announced 32 other games that will be out by 31 December, too.

Exclusive content for The Division on Xbox One

Ubisoft's latest Tom Clancy title The Division will have exclusive content for Xbox One gamers, and will also be making an appearance on PC.

Twitch on PS4

Xbox One was talking about Twitch integration from launch, but now the PS4 will also use the Twitch game-streaming service via its Share button.

Four minutes and 20 seconds of gameplay action from Titanfall.

The Sims 4 trailer

Electronic Arts showed off The Sims 4, with new character-creation tools that let you shape your Sims like modelling clay, new ways to build, and new interactions and emotions.

Xbox One bundled with FIFA: Every pre-order of the Xbox One will come bundled with a free digital copy of FIFA 2014.

EVE: Valkyrie for Oculus Rift

CCP Games (which you might remember from Eve Online) unveiled the trailer for its upcoming virtual-reality (VR) space dogfighter for the Oculus Rift, EVE: Valkyrie.

A choice of Dual Shocks

The PlayStation 4's Dual Shock controllers will be available in black, naturally, and wave blue and magma red, launching with the PlayStation 4 on 29 November. For once, the US is going to have to wait a little longer, getting them later in the year.

Gran Turismo 6 coming in December

Polyphony Digital's PlayStation exclusive Gran Turismo 6 will arrive in Australia on 6 December, but only for the PlayStation 3 (at this point). Alfa Romeo, Alpine, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bertone, GM Design, Honda, Infiniti, Italdesign Giugiaro, Jordan Brand, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Nissan, Peugeot, Chrysler, Volkswagen and Zagato will create concept cars for the game, to be released as DLC.
