Hear 'Game of Thrones' intro played on an '80s game console

This guy built a keytar out of an old NES system, then used it to create a rad music and laser light remix of the "Game of Thrones" intro.

Scotland-based programmer Greig Stewart built his NES Keytar out of an old NES system which, for kicks, can actually still play games. With it, he created a pretty incredible 8-bit music and MIDI-controlled laser show remix of the intro theme song for HBO's "Game of Thrones" that is well worth the watch. The sounds you hear in the video come from the NES original RP2A03 chip in the system that give it the 8-bit sounds from the old NES games.

But man, that keytar. Stewart built the NES Keytar using the NES console; NES, Famicom and Guitar Hero controllers; a toy keyboard; three mini Arduinos; and a Raspberry Pi, as well as some MIDI components and connections to create one awesome finished product.
