With just a few days to go before it's announced, rumors via ZDNet Korea suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be waterproof and dustproof.

Anyone who's ever sacrificed a phone on the altar of a toilet or swimming pool can appreciate the possibilities of a waterproof phone. The current Samsung flagship isn't waterproof but does have a water-defying spin-off: the Galaxy S4 Active.

Recent leaks also point to an eye-melting screen for the S5, with a resolution of 1,440x2,560 pixels. With the phone recast to measure 5.2 inches, that would be hugely detailed 560 pixels per inch. The Galaxy S5 is slated for unveiling at next week's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
