Revision B G4 logic board and Ethernet fix The AccelerateYourMac web site has an item asserting that a new Revision B logic board is now shipping in G4s. It adds: "Perhaps, new Uni-N chip was fixed the problems on the Ethernet LINK function." Could this be a fix for the Ethernet problem previously reported here? The same page also notes that a 2.8 revision of the G4 processor started shipping last month. AirPort card "revision B" Steve Payonzeck writes: "I ordered an AirPort card from the Apple Store on Feb 1st. Yesterday I went to check on the order status and my order had been canceled and then reordered with part number M7600LL/B (originally it was M7600LL/A.)" Tom Willing replies: "The change from /A to /B on the AirPort part number is to note the new AirPort 1.1 software in the box." Starship Titanic sound problems Vegard Brenna solved distorted sound problems he was having with Starship Titanic by trashing SoundSprocket Filter 1.7.1 and replacing it with the older version that came on the Starship Titanic CD. He contacted S&SI Tech Support about this and they replied: "I will pass your results on to other Mac users, as this has been quite a problem."
