The March 4 Information Alley reports:
a. There is a conflict between non-PowerPC 500 series PowerBook computers and Sound Manager version 3.2.1, which comes as part of the QuickTime 2.5 installation package. It results in an inability to record sounds. The work-around is to disable Sound Manager when you want to record sounds.
b. Apple details exactly what was fixed in LaserWriter 8.4.2 and Desktop Printing 2.0.2 (as ship with Mac OS 7.6). It fixes the PageMaker extra page problem, errors that could occur with desktop printing on a Mac with a PowerPC card installed, and one other minor glitch.
