From Palm Computing: MacPac 2 (beta); Palm VII

MacPac 2 (beta) is here! 3Com's Palm MacPac Version 2 Beta is finally online. It includes Palm Desktop 2.1 and all-new HotSync Manager software. But remember: It's still betaware. The final version is still down the road a bit. (Thanks, David Wing and Glen White.)

Palm VII announced On another front, Palm announced a forthcoming Palm VII, which "will enable users to quickly, easily and securely obtain information from Web and intranet sites via a wireless connection to 3Com's Palm.net." It won't be out until sometime in 1999.
