From Casady & Greene: Conflict Catcher 8.0.4 and Sherlock Assistant

Conflict Catcher 8.0.4 is out. The update provides compatibility with Mac OS 8.5.1. Specifically, it fixes the problem where you could lose your Mac OS All and Base sets. It also fixes a glitch where an unnecessary warning came up when using Clean-Install System Merge with Mac OS 8.5.1.

Note: Suzanne Gronemeyer had Finder freezes after installing this update. She found that turning off the "Guarantee System Heap" Preference eliminated the freezes. I have had no other reports of this problem.

Sherlock Assistant is an application that allows you to manage your plug-ins. Sherlock Assistant allows you to resize the Sherlock window to accommodate a large number of Sherlock plug-ins, and with one menu command, you can visit Web sites that list hundreds of additional Sherlock plug-ins. Sherlock Assistant makes it easy to install, remove, and organize all of your plug-in files. This is freeware.
