If recent reports are to be believed, Sprint caught the bridal bouquet that Verizon tossed and now it's next in line to get married to the iPhone.

Remember the frenzy during the lead-up to Verizon's announcement? There's not quite so much foaming at the mouth this time around.

Sprint trails Verizon and AT&T in terms of subscriber size, and it's going to need some shiny baubles to lure customers into its lair. The biggest bauble it can offer is an unlimited data plan.

Once upon a time, Verizon and AT&T had unlimited data plan options for iPhones. That is now the stuff of fairy tales and legends.

Rumors are rolling around that Sprint will initially offer unlimited data for the iPhone 5 and then cruelly snatch it away from customers' grasps. That's all just speculation for now. Sprint's $79.99 unlimited plan has been its mighty sword in the fight for market share. It might be hard to give up.

Word on the street has it that the iPhone 5 will land at Sprint in October. Is unlimited data a big enough carrot to get you to abandon AT&T or Verizon to get your iPhone 5 fix? Vote in our poll and leave your comments below.
