FreePPP 2.6.2: a buzz follow-up; Rockstar sends us an FAQ list

Regarding our "buzz" item last time on FreePPP, I am happy to report that most of the follow-up buzz has been overwhelmingly positive. Words such as "flawless" and "perfect" were used by several readers to describe FreePPP's behavior.

Still, others confirmed the problems reported (especially the the startup freeze as FreePPP attempts a connection). Chuck Goodrich suggested disabling the Eddie Plug-in as a possible work-around.

Meanwhile, Richard Reynolds (of Rockstar Studios, Inc.) sent me a troubleshooting FAQ for FreePPP 2.6.2 (posted here as a MacFixIt Extra). Especially note the advice to remove Internet Expert, if you have this extension.
