Mystery invisible files Have you discovered invisible files called System Control and/or inControl Panel on your drive? Are you wondering what they are and how they got there? A Forums thread has the answer.

QuikSync problems We have previously covered problems with Iomega's QuikSync. A thread on the Forums continues the discussion, noting especially problems with the "Select Disk" command, possibly limited to internal ATA Zip drives.

G3 clicking A posting states: "I just had a new work station set-up. When the my friend/technician installed an Adaptec 2906 SCSI card for my UMAX Astra 2400S scanner and my Iomega zip drive, the G3-350 started clicking. It is a very soft sound, two clicks, very slight pause, third click. Continuous, unless I select and hold something. Then it stops, but just while I hold on." Several replies suggested explanations and/or confirmed that they too had this symptom. One reply implicated VSControlStrip (part of the Vista Scan UMAX software package) as the cause, but this did not appear to be a universal solution.

Canon printer and PowerBooks A posting states that Canon confirmed a problem using the C635 Multifunction Printer with PowerBooks.
