Hours of live "Force Awakens" reveals introduce more toys and other "Star Wars" products than you can shake a lightsaber at. Here, a look at some of the newest stuff this side of the galaxy.

When you love "Star Wars," you want to know what the latest, hottest toys will be and where you can grab them off store shelves before everyone else does.

Maybe you even love the franchise so much you're willing to skip sleep and showering and work to watch new products being unboxed live for 18 hours. Heads up, fans. That's what the Disney/Lucasfilm marketing juggernaut known as "Force Friday" is all about.

The event, spanning September 3 and 4, features nonstop live reveals of upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" product lines on the official "Star Wars" YouTube channel. Reveals showing the latest geektastic gear will span 15 cities in 12 countries. Unveilings of some goods, such as a Sphero BB-8 droid you can call your very own, already took place Thursday.

If you're trying to steer clear of any "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" spoilers, you should probably stop reading this and any other upcoming articles on "Star Wars" toys, since many of these products reveal the names of characters, ships, weapons, battles and planets. In fact, unplug your computer and don't go back online again until January 2016 if you really want to be on the safe side.

Force Friday reveals have so far have included "Star Wars" Nerf blasters; battle action toys; Hot Wheels playsets and character cars; costumes for kids; "Force Awakens" big figs; action figures; and Lego X-Wing fighters. To name but a handful.

" Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits Australian movie screens on December 17, followed by the US and UK on December 18, so now might be a good time to start making a shopping list of all the new action figures, remote-controlled droids and other gadgets you want in your personal galaxy.
