Follow March Madness with simple, useful Liveschedules.net
A clean design and links to live streams highlight this useful online schedule for the NCAA basketball tournament.
With all of the madness last week, I missed the launch of the March Madness version of Liveschedules.net. Now, despite my busted bracket, I will bookmark the site for use later this week when the NCAA men's basketball tournament recommences.
I used Liveschedules.net to keep track of the action and avoid spoilers during the Sochi Olympics last month, and now the man behind the clean and simple online schedule has returned with a March Madness version.
At the top of the schedule are two tabs: TV Schedule and Bracket. The TV Schedule tab lists the match-ups of each round in the order in which they will be played. For each, you can see the start time for each game and the network broadcasting it. Click on the network to open a live stream on the NCAA's Web site, and choose your timezone using the pull-down in the upper-right corner.
On the left panel, you can filter by round, region, and channel. You can also search for your team to see when its next game tips off and its potential match-ups in subsequent rounds.
On the Bracket tab, you can view the bracket for one of the four regions at a time. Click the links at the top of the page to switch regions. Alternatively, you can search for a school to view its bracket, with its path to the regional final highlighted.
In other news, it would appear from the banner at the top of the page that Liveschedules.net has schedules in the works for the NBA, the NHL, and MLB.
