Fixing Eudora's slow mail delivery: a follow-up

CNET staff
Last time, we mentioned a work-around for the delay in mail delivery in Eudora 4.2. It involved selecting a "threading" panel. Several readers wrote to say that they could not locate this option. Daniel Griscom replied (and Joe Rice confirmed):
Look for the "Esoteric Settings" plugin the "Extra Plugins" folder in the Eudora application folder. Copy the plugin into the "Eudora Folder" folder (usually inside your System Folder). Now when you launch Eudora and open the "Settings..." dialog, scroll to the bottom. You'll see a panel labeled "Threading." Select it, and the "Wait time until delivering" field will appear. As always, Balloon Help is extremely complete in Eudora, and is the best way to figure out all the settings.
