You know how mystery writers often come up with the ending first and then write the rest of the story? Sometimes I pick my bonus deal first, then keep looking until I find the main event.

Today, however, I just kept finding bonus deals. One after the other, to the point where I found myself staring at another glorious five-deal Friday. So without further throat-clearing, I hereby give you these -- no extra charge for the alliteration.

Brookstone bucks

Because it's a gadget, that's why!
Because it's a gadget, that's why! LivingSocial

If your holiday shopping includes a trip to gadget emporium Brookstone, here's a deal you can't pass up: LivingSocial is offering a $50 Brookstone credit for $18.75 when you apply coupon code HEART25 at checkout.

A good bet is to check the gifts-$50-and-under page for some cool ways to score a monster deal with that credit (which must be used by November 27, FYI!).

BioShock bonanza

Game time! Regular readers know I'm a die-hard fan of the BioShock games, and here's the best deal I've seen yet on the latest in the series: GameAgent has BioShock Infinite (Win/Mac) and the Columbia's Finest DLC add-on for $10 when you apply coupon code 9to5Mac at checkout. (That code is case-sensitive, FYI, and I'm not sure how much longer it'll be valid -- I first spotted this deal yesterday. (Update: According to 9to5Toys, the deal is good until Sunday.) You'll need a Steam account to activate/download the game.

Blu-ray ripper

Every time I write about a DVD ripper, many readers ask for a program that can handle Blu-ray. Well, here ya go: Today only, Giveaway of the Day has Tipard Blu-Ray Converter 6.3.60 (Win) for free. As with all GotD offers, you must download, install, and activate the program today. Make sure you click the correct download link, and follow the instructions to activate the software after installation. (Otherwise you'll just end up with the trial version.)

DVD drive

This LG drive adds CD/DVD read/write capabilities to laptops that lack them. Newegg

An increasing number of modern laptops come without a DVD reader/burner, which is a problem if you need to, you know, read or burn a CD or DVD.

Until they sell out, which I'm quite certain they will, Newegg has the LG GP60NS50 external DVD-RW drive for $24.99 shipped.

This ultraslim USB drive is compatible with Windows and Mac systems and has five-star reviews across the board.

PDF pusher

There are plenty of free PDF viewers out there, but what if you actually need to edit one of those documents? Now you're probably looking at spending a few bucks, and maybe more than a few. Not today, though: SharewareOnSale has iSkysoft PDF Editor (Win) for free. Regular price: $69.95.

The program gives you the tools to create, edit, and convert PDFs, though as with a lot of one-day-only giveaways, it's provided without updates or technical support. On the plus side, you can reinstall it if necessary at a later date, so this really is yours to keep forever.

Bonus deal: What's this? A bonus deal even after all that? Yep, I love you guys just that much. For a limited time, and while supplies last, MacMall has a PNY 64GB USB 2.0 flash drive for $19.99 shipped. That's after redeeming a $10 mail-in rebate, which makes this the cheapest 64GB flash drive I've ever seen. (Granted, only by about $9, but still -- that's a lot of storage for 20 bucks.)
