First GTA V trailer hits the web

Rockstar has released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, revealing a sun-drenched game set in a fictional Los Angeles.

Rockstar has released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V, revealing a sun-drenched game set in a fictional Los Angeles.

It's a day late, according to Rockstar's game announcement two weeks ago, but we ain't mad. All you have to do is gaze upon these sweet, sweet polygons, and any irritation melts away like ice on those heat-baked pavements.

And, OK, it sounds a little weird, but we really love the garbage on the streets — it indicates a real attention to detail and seediness.

Story-wise, our new protagonist has moved in an attempt to go legit — but just when he thought he was out ...

We're probably going to see a lot of hype over the coming months, but, based on this first slice of the cake, what do you think? GTA V: yea or nay?
